摘要: Removal trapping is still used for the study of tropical African shrews biodiversity and ecology, because shrew species identification requires cranio-dental analyses due to existence sibling species. Pitfall has been found be most effective protocol collect shrews. However, impact removal pitfall-trapping on density diversity unknown. In this paper, we test two forest communities, by comparing results sessions conducted in consecutive years. Our support view that trapping, with conditions described does not adversely affect local population numbers richness.
