摘要: The aim of this study was to test the efficiency a fluorescent powder tracking technique for studying use space by nocturnal small mammals in an African rainforest. We examined 53 trails 40 individuals (34 rodents and six shrews). This method mammal is less efficient rainforest than drier habitats, because rainfall relative humidity adversely affect traceability trail. Moreover, following trail time consuming, density undergrowth. Despite these difficulties, provides interesting data on vertical habitat mammals, localization their shelters microhabitat use.
