摘要: Abstract Following a suggestion implicit in the recent work of Lewthwaite, sink strength associated with dispersion localized regions high density has been investigated. The analysis is based upon some minor extensions Effective Medium method rate theory. It yields such for any volume fraction them. Lewthwaite's model dislocation tangle treated as specific example. In addition to extending this large tangles, influence different point defect production rates and or diffusivities tangled A semi-quantitative growth voids system reveals an extreme sensitivity physical features model, thus rendering unequivocal quantitative predictions anticipated behavior very difficult obtain.
