摘要: Partial knee arthroplasty has had followers since the 1970s. As implants for patellofemoral and tibiofemoral articulations improved, surgeons began to combine replacements in an attempt spare ligaments of knee, remove a minimal amount bone, above all, get back pristine kinematic conditions. Initially, surfaces were replaced with individual implants. A monolithic femoral component was designed some limited success. The chapter will review experience European separate components American prostheses.
