摘要: We compared the density of golden eagles (Aquila chrysaetos) and their nest dispersion, productivity diet in Alpine pre-Alpine areas. The comparison was made at two spatial scales: (1) territory level within contiguous populations, (2) population level, using published data for 22 populations scattered across four countries (France, Switzerland, Germany Italy). Availability eagle's main prey species higher than regions. potential foraging ranges pairs pre-Alps had larger amounts woodland lower suitable habitat those pairs. At both scales, were pre-Alps. Also, characterised by a percentage diet, which significantly correlated with productivity, breadth negatively density. Overall, availability suitability Alps resulted breeding success, manner compatible theoretical metapopulation models. suggest that priority be given to conservation eagle high quality habitat, action carried out mixture site-protection measures wider environment.
