摘要: Purpose: The purpose of this controlled clinical trial was to compare the working time for caries removal in primary teeth, need local anesthesia and patient cooperation, when chemomechanical Carisolv or conventional mechanical method were used. Methods: sample consisted teeth children who had occlusal buccal carious lesions into dentin. High speed and/or low used as removal. efficiency judged on basis criteria. Length time, anesthesia, level cooperation recorded both methods. Statistical analysis performed using student’s t test chi-square test. Results: Working with much more prolonged than (P<.001), but it did not negatively affect children’s cooperation. Furthermore, reduced administration Class V cavity preparations. Conclusions: method, although prolonged, is effective does influence may reduce restorations. (Pediatr Dent. 2004;26:23-28)
