摘要: This paper presents a numerical analysis of slamming and whipping using fully coupled hydroelastic model. The model uses 3-D Rankine panel method, 1-D or finite element 2-D Generalized Wagner Model (GWM), which are strongly in time domain. First, the GWM is validated against results free drop test wedges. Second, method for 10,000 twenty-foot equivalent unit (TEU) containership. Slamming pressures responses to regular waves compared. A spatial distribution local forces measured 14 force sensors test, it compared with integration pressure by computation. Furthermore, decomposed into added mass, impact, hydrostatic components, computational results. validity characteristics discussed.
