摘要: Carbon monoxide (CO) is an important pervasive atmospheric trace gas affecting climate and more than 50% of air pollution nationwide worldwide, which also plays as a significant indirect greenhouse gases due to its influences on the budgets hydroxyl radicals (OH) ozone (O3). We present study Atmosphere Infrared Sounder (AIRS), onboard NASA's Aqua Satellite, detection CO emission from large forest fire in year 2005 Sumatra, Indonesia. AIRS daily coverage 70% planet symbolizes evolutionary advance satellite remote sensing. one several instruments Earth Observing System (EOS) launched May 4, 2002, with two companions microwave Advanced Microwave Sounding Unit (AMSU) Humidity for Brazil (HSB) form integrated sounding system. providing new insights into weather 21st century, well AIRS’ channels include spectral features key carbon CO2, methane(CH4), CO. infrared spectrometer/radiometer that covers 3.7– 15.4 m range 2378 channels. Troposphere abundances are retrieved 4.55 mm region, measure total column by 52 uncertainty, estimated approximately 15-20 % at 500mb. Results analysis Level 3 standard (AIR×3STD) Monthly product (AIRX3STM) were utilized order impact Indonesia distribution, monthly distributions Peninsular Malaysia. maps 12 – 25 August area show large-scale, long-range transport anthropogenic natural sources, most notably biomass burning. The sequence shows advection central Sumatra can capture temporal variation fires through 6-day composites so it may offer chance enhance our knowledge over areas. result was compared (13-24) 2007. measurements concentration higher northern region (uppers latitude 4) affected rest area. Substantial seasonal variations demonstrate season-to-season changes rainfall drought patterns different seasons. see such burning emissions late dry season, while industrial contributions evident
