摘要: Continued rapid industrialization is expected to make East Asia the largest source region for air pollution in coming decades. This chapter reviews import and export of pollutants, mainly carbon monoxide ozone, by long-range transport from Asia. Air pollutant sources characteristics dominated monsoon regime over Northeast Southeast are summarized. Over both contribute significantly intercontinental pollution. Trans-Eurasian westerly flows Europe Asia, trans-Pacific Asian Pacific North America have been verified observations model studies. The influence Siberian forest fires on pollutants has also clearly identified. continental occurs regions Indian subcontinent during summer early winter monsoon. Biomass burning within region, however, strongly dominates regional transoceanic biomass known be one most significant ozone CO springtime.
