摘要: The involvement of human papillomavirus (HPV) in the development carcinomas uterine cervix has been firmly established. However, other genetic alterations also play an important role pathogenesis cervical cancer. Therefore, we have investigated several (onco)genes carcinoma. In tumors from 136 patients with stage I and II cancer cervix, expression epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), c-erbB-2/neu, p53, murine double minute 2 (MDM-2) was studied using immunohistochemistry. 32 cases, amplification EGFR, MDM-2, c-myc by Southern blot hybridization. levels these proteins were correlated HPV positivity, International Federation Gynecologists Obstetricians stage, lymph node metastases, tumor diameter, vessel invasion, disease-free overall survival. Moderate/strong EGFR observed 54% tumors. c-erbB-2/neu focally positive 12 cases. p53 showed moderate/strong 32% Thirteen % a this to (P<0.001). Only associated reduced (P = 0.002) survival 0.003). multivariate analysis, association overexpression poor prognosis independent status. Gene found for (four cases), c-erbB-2/ neu (two (six cases). two tumors, rearrangement found, probably due integration HPV. conclusion, is predictor earlier stages (stage II) MDM-2 are each may interaction importance relatively small
