摘要: Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a relapsing inflammatory skin disease with considerable social and economic burden. Functional textiles may have antimicrobial antipruritic properties been used as complementary treatment in AD. We aimed to assess their effectiveness safety this setting. carried out systematic review of three large biomedical databases. GRADE approach was rate the levels evidence grade recommendation. Meta-analyses comparable studies were out. Thirteen (eight randomized controlled trials five observational studies) met eligibility criteria. Interventions limited silk (six studies), silver-coated cotton (five borage oil, ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH) fiber (one study each). Silver associated improvement SCORAD (2 4), fewer symptoms, lower need for rescue medication (1 2), no difference quality life, decreased Staphyloccosus aureus colonization 3), trans-epidermal water loss concerns. Silk textile use symptoms differences life or medication. With oil only erythema showed improvement, EVOH fiber, an eczema severity reported. Recommendation functional AD weak, supported by low regarding severity, hazardous consequences use. More better methodology longer follow-up are needed.
