摘要: The first mitochondrial DNA sequence from a Neandertal specimen was recovered in 1997. Now the completion of whole genome has been announced to be completed forthcoming months. About one million nucleotides nuclear have already sequenced and so far 15 specimens delivered authentic sequences. This information helped us better understand evolution gene pool over space time address long-standing question possible admixture with their modern human relatives. chapter reviews current knowledge on NeandertalDNA sequences presents future challenges related genomics.
