摘要: To determine the responsible components of isolated sperm centrioles for aster induction in sea urchin eggs, centriolar fraction was treated with various enzymes and injected into unfertilized then formation first division observed after fertilization. Treatment 1 μg/ml or higher concentration trypsin inhibited activity induction, whereas treatment 50 DNase 1, 80 RNase A, 40 T1, 0.1 had no inhibitory effect to induce asters. Injection 0.5 A mUg/ml T1 egg caused detention mitosis at streak stage. examine temperature pre-treated boiling temperature, it found that became incapable any aster. Results obtained suggest effective asters fertilized eggs are proteins but not nucleic acids. The inducing is destroyed by heat treatment.
