摘要: Abstract An experimental study has been carried out for enhancement of heat transfer coefficient a solar air heater having roughened duct artificially in the form V-ribs with symmetrical gaps as turbulence promoter. In present work an investigation and friction artificial roughness were investigated. The encompassed Reynolds number (Re) ranging from 4000 to 18,000, Number (Ng) values 1–5, relative gap width (g/e) pitch (P/e) 6–12, angle attack (α) range 30–75° height (e/D) 0.043. For Nusselt (Nu), maximum order 3.6 times that smooth obtained, similarly factor (f) also increases by 3.67 folds duct. rib parameters corresponding increase Nu f Ng = 3, g/e = 4, P/e = 10 α = 60°. Based on data, correlations have developed function flow number.
