摘要: This is the first study of phylogenetic relationships within pantropical group Urophylleae. Previous studies have included few representatives from this and little known about its phylogeny. Here we use sequence data rps16 intron to address question where four genera Temnopteryx, Pentaloncha, Pleiocarpidia, Poecilocalyx, which sometimes been classified in group, belong. By using different outgroups show that there conflict regarding resolution among lineages Rubioideae, partly affects support for Urophylleae shown consist two sister groups, one consisting Old World taxa smaller including New Amphidasya Raritebe, as these groups African monotypic genus Temnopteryx. Poecilocalyx all belong large clade, only comprises original circumscription Relationships are not completely resolved, but found be Stelechantha, Pleiocarpidia Urophyllum leucophleum. paraphyletic it seems include Maschalocorymbus, Praravinia, Pravinaria. It clear present analysis whether Pauridiantha monophyletic or not.
