摘要: During development of the mammalian telencephalon, cells migrate via diverse pathways to reach their final destinations. In developing neocortex, projection neurons are generated from that radially underlying ventricular zone. contrast, subsets populate ventral piriform cortex and olfactory bulb these sites by migrating long distances. Additionally, it has been recently established tangentially ganglionic eminences cortex. These a significant source cortical interneurons possibly other cell types such as oligodendrocytes. Here we summarize known routes migration in with particular focus on tangential migration. We also review recent genetic transplantation studies have given greater insight into understanding processes molecular cues may guide cells.
