摘要: The antinociceptive activities of clonidine have been determined against several qualitatively different noxious stimuli in the mouse, rat and dog. In these tests given subcutaneously was 6 to 7 times more potent than morphine. Both morphine were responses heat induced nociceptive nociception or that by electrical tail stimulation. However, unlike effects latter only seen at doses also caused sedation so animals less able respond stimuli. contrast pressure, chemical tooth pulp stimulation produced increases thresholds which no overt signs behavioural depression. Comparisons relative potencies lipophilic analogue 4-hydroxyclonidine intracerebroventricularly indicate antinociception is predominantly centrally mediated. a peripheral component may be present inhibition acetylcholine-induced abdominal constriction mouse.
