摘要: Background Disruptions of the pelvic ring may be a significant short- or long-term source morbidity and mortality. In obese, temporary stabilization definitive fixation injured pelvis is much more difficult undertaking, requiring surgeon expertise larger surgical approaches. Complications that arise as result operative injuries significantly minimize any potential benefits conferred by attempts at fixation.
