摘要: A primary limitation of current x-ray CT polymer gel dosimetry is the low contrast, and hence poor dose resolution, images produced by system. The contrast largely due to low-dose sensitivity formulations for imaging. This study reports on investigation new dosimeter with improved dosimetry. We incorporate an isopropanol co-solvent into N-isopropylacrylamide-based formulation in order increase total monomer/crosslinker concentration (%T) within formulation. It shown that gels high %T exhibit enhanced resolutions over traditional formulations. are be temporally stable reproducible. single (16%T) used demonstrate capabilities system measuring known distributions. 1 L volume exposed three separate irradiations: a single-field percent depth dose, two-field 'cross' three-field 'test case'. first two irradiations generate calibration curve which calibrated. calibrated compared treatment planning predictions it capable capturing spatial information accurately. proposed sensitive, improve resolution so as provide feasible clinical applications
