摘要: In previous studies on streptozotocin-diabetic rats, transplantation of 1,000 (but not 400) pancreatic islets to the renal subcapsular space was followed within 10 days by near-normalization impaired insulin secretion and hyperglycemia. The long-term effects were now studied measuring glucagon 3 months after collagenase-isolated in streptozotocin (70 mg/kg) diabetic rats. At this time, control rats showed marked hyperglycemia hyperglucagonemia, whereas basal glucose levels had normalized transplanted Furthermore, response or arginine stimulation following normal all transplant but absent controls. Morphologically appeared hematoxylin-eosin staining immunostaining with antisera directed against insulin, glucagon, somatostatin chromogranin A/B. Thus islet transplants hyperglucagonemia restored a basis.
