摘要: Due to the inaccessibility of fetus, continuous direct monitoring carotid arterial blood pH and gas values is not yet feasible. Information on fetal can be obtained from capillary circulation presenting part, usually scalp. As long as scalp flow remains undisturbed, peripheral will form a reasonable reflection values. However, if decreases, difference between increase, due local skin metabolism rendering these questionable for monitoring.
