Isolation of Infectious Xenotropic Mouse Type C Virus by Transfection of a Heterologous Cell with DNA from a Transformed Mouse Cell

摘要: An endogenous xenotropic type C virus has been isolated from a Kirsten sarcoma virus-transformed BALB/c mouse cell line by transfection of mink fibroblast with the DNA transformed cells. The results indicate that may be used as technique to isolate this without need chemically induce containing provirus prior attempting virus.
