摘要: Abstract Copper is shown to deposit as a monolayer on platinum at controlled potentials more positive than the potential which it will in bulk. An explanation advanced terms of differences free energy copper-platinum bond and copper-copper bond. The chemisorption appears take place about two main postulated that difference between these may be associated with surface crystal faces platinum. results are correlated previous work thallium provide further evidence coverage can approach 100%.
