摘要: Over the past few decades, it has become increasingly clear that lethality of cancers depends on more than malignant cells themselves. The environment those are exposed to is just as important a determinant their behavior. Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) both common deadly. It 6th most frequently occurring cancers, prognosis still generally poor. Recent evidence indicates activated fibroblasts residing within tumor stroma play significant role in promoting aggressive spread often seen head cancer. Tumor associated (TAFs) have also been implicated facilitating angiogenesis suppressing normal anti-tumor function immune cells. Studying signaling molecules involved these processes will facilitate development promising targets inhibitors prevent tumor-associated from exerting reinforcing effects tumor. In this article, we review recent literature signals used fibroblast communication, with focus potential therapeutic targets. Further, highlight lead candidates for TAF-targeted interventions. Future anti-cancer strategies may achieve better results current approaches by targeting support addition cancerous
