摘要: Objective To review current literature regarding uroabdomen in dogs and cats with respect to etiology, diagnostic approach, medical surgical treatment, prognosis. Etiology Uroabdomen is most often associated vehicular or blunt trauma. This condition may also result from urinary tract obstruction, traumatic bladder expression catheterization, neoplasia, postoperative leakage following abdominal urogenital surgery. Diagnosis Disruption the should be considered when a patient diagnosed azotemia, hyperkalemia, effusion. By comparing creatinine concentration of fluid serum plasma concentration, diagnosis can made if ratio ≥2:1. In patients imaging studies contrast are necessary identify exact source urine determine therapeutic options. Therapy Uroabdomen emergency, not emergency. Acute management involves stabilization IV therapy treatment hyperkalemia. Urinary diversion and, some cases, peritoneal dialysis stabilize until life-threatening conditions such as hyperkalemia concomitant injuries pulmonary contusions resolve. Once stable for anesthesia, repair, indicated, performed. Prognosis The prognosis depends on extent nonurinary well development complications. Potential complications include dehiscence repair tract, urosepsis, unresolving azotemia secondary renal damage underlying insufficiency, stricture formation tract.
