摘要: The effect of hydrogen on the mechanical behavior metallic materials has been extensively studied by numerous investigators. In recent years, considerable efforts have directed toward understanding fundamental aspects embrittlement. For a quantitative analysis embrittlement processes, following steps must be clarified; (i) localization or accumulation at critical locations, (ii) microcrack formation, nature which depends upon local concentration and stress state, (iii) redistribution after formation. Repetition above (i)–(iii); i.e., propagation microcracks, continues until final fracture.
