摘要: Abstract Hydrogen trapping in deformed iron was studied by time lag measurements based upon gas phase charging and electrochemical measuring techniques. A trap binding energy of 14.3 ∓ 1.1 kcal mol−1H (59.9 ± 4.6 kJ mol−1H) determined. Trap densities varied from just under 1020m−3 for annealed to a little over 1023 m−3 heavily iron. The traps are believed be associated with the imperfection structure, dislocations and/or dislocation debris, developed during plastic deformation.
