摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter deals with the current status of rat immunogenetics. Laboratory stocks Ruttus noruegicus descended from wild animals that only a few hundred years ago are found exclusively in various parts Asia. Genetic studies on rats have closely paralleled similar mice. Rats diploid complement 42 chromosomes (Committee for Standardized Karyotype Rattus noruegicus), compared to 40 mouse. When trypsinbanded karyotypes mouse and were compared, banding patterns identical about 40% genome. The first report immunogenetics explores those four alloagglutinins sera two examples alloantibodies among 2,000 cross-tests domesticated rats. Further linkage information will be extremely useful assessing degree chromosomal rearrangement apparently occurred derivation mammalian species.
