摘要: In this Communication, we report an intramolecular C−H bond amination reaction of a dipyrromethene ferrous complex with organic azides. Monitoring the spectral changes (variable-temperature NMR and UV−vis) FeII reveals no buildup intermediate during conversion starting material into nitrene-inserted product. The rate-determining step appears to be azide addition 14-electron complex, hinting at potential that these related platforms may have effect atom- group-transfer processes.
