摘要: Abstract : Sustainable fuel production requires using renewable energy to power the reductive fixation of carbon dioxide. Although robust technologies are available for converting renewables into electricity, electricity carbon-based is precluded by lack effective dioxide electroreduction catalysts. We proposed prepare bifunctional catalysts that would feature a nucleophilic site attack electrophilic CO2 and an stabilize negative charge build-up on oxygen upon reduction. To achieve this goal, we targeted three families catalysts: (1) modified salen/salan dinucleating ligand platforms form binuclear catalysts; (2) dipyrrin-supported complexes readily tuneable metal-based redox potentials; (3) cluster-based reduce CO.
