RESULTS OF HORMONE IMPLANTS IN THE TREATMENT OF THE CLIMACTERIC

摘要: The results of a 25 year study on the therapeutic benefit hormone implants in 1000 women and 300 men aged 40-75 years are presented. Im plants have several advantages over other routes administration incl uding constant level greater economy absence unde sirable gastric symptoms. therapy which included Premarin estroge ns testosterone brought about considerable improvement flushes general mental physical condition depression fatigue local changes skin genital tract. incidences post-menopausal bleeding cancer were lower hormone-treated patients than who no treated with hormones. findings show that during climacteric contributes considerably to patinets well-being may delay development degenerative diseases.
