Diseases masking and delaying the diagnosis of urogenital tuberculosis.

摘要: As urogenital tuberculosis (UGTB) has no specific clinical features, it is often overlooked. To identify some of the reasons for misdiagnosing UGTB we performed a systematic review. We searched in Medline/PubMed papers with keywords ‘urogenital tuberculosis, rare’ and unusual’. ‘Urogenital presented 230 articles unusual’ 81 only, total 311 papers. A 34 were duplicated so excluded from In addition, analysis 33 on epidemiological studies literature reviews, describing non-TB cases TB another than organs (48 articles), congenital (three as case concomitant disease (16 complication BCG-therapy (eight articles). also 22 dedicated to complications therapy, which made 164 articles.
