摘要: Objective: To evaluate the effect of early amniotomy on mode delivery and pregnancy outcome in comparison to a group patients admitted with premature rupture membranes at term. Study design: The study population consists all women (n=338) whose labor was induced by amniotomy, between years 1988 1995. were (n=1865) who during same period. Results: Cesarean section significantly higher than (162 (47.9%) vs. 348 (18.7%), P<0.001). This significant difference noted only for those did not had previous cesarean (106 (42.4%) 224 (13.8%), Non progressive first stage threefold control (30.8% 10.9%, Abnormal fetal heart rate patterns detected 52 (15.4%) group, as compared 141 cases (7.6%) (P<0.001). assess independent contribution having present delivery, multiple logistic model used. Early (odds ratio [OR] 3.07, 95% confidence interval [CI] 2.36–4.01), well (OR 5.04, CI 3.90–6.52) high parity 1.07, 1.03–1.26) found risk factors section. Conclusions: appears be associated an increased
