摘要: Several papers have been published to illustrate the effectiveness of mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) as a pulpotomy medicament. Most these reports do not offer critical assessment on data quality. Therefore, this review evaluated whether currently available evidence is an appropriate quality support long-term MTA medicament in primary molars using standardized criterion. A comprehensive literature search human clinical outcome studies, which employed teeth, was conducted MEDLINE database. Two independent observers rated articles criteria. Furthermore, based initial sample mentioned individual studies and included for final analysis, drop-out rates were calculated. Twenty-two with excellent interobserver agreement. None 22 obtained grade A, four attained B1, five graded B2 13 received C. Based criteria employed, there no that better than present materials techniques given low data, it highly desirable establish standard requisites conducting reporting pulp therapy teeth so benefit both researchers clinicians produce high-quality are comparable prevent misuse material resources.
