摘要: A comprehensive review and study of the rich dinosaur track record Tremp Formation in southern Pyrenees Spain (Southwestern Europe) shows a unique succession footprint localities prior to end-Cretaceous mass extinction event. description some 30 new tracksites data on sedimentary environments, occurrence preservation, ichnology chronostratigraphy are provided. These represent various facies types within diverse set fluvial environments. The discoveries mostly hadrosaurian and, less abundantly, sauropod dinosaurs. hadrosaur tracks significantly smaller size than, but morphologically similar to, those North America Asia attributable ichnogenus Hadrosauropodus. succession, with more than 40 distinct levels, indicates that footprints Ibero-Armorican region occur predominantly late Maaastrichtian (at least above early Maastrichtian–late Maastrichtian boundary). highest abundance is found noticeably Maastrichtian, occurring C29r magnetochron, about latest 300,000 years Cretaceous.
