摘要: The present investigation is focused on experimental studies the structure of airblast spray in crossflow. Atomizer at a higher pressure than ambient and gas expected to exhibit features generally found under-expanded jets. High-speed images are captured using shadowgraphy technique. Certain wave-like structures observed near-nozzle region attributed shock–vortex interactions, Proper Orthogonal Decomposition (POD) analysis has been carried out these images.
