摘要: Photocatalysis phenomena in TiO2 have been intensively investigated for its potential application environmental remediation. The present work reports improved photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue dye aqueous solution by using bamboo-type nanotubes deposited with Ag nanoparticles via electrochemical deposition. processes are performed on Ag-modified nanotube arrays, smooth-walled and bare arrays. Both arrays show efficiencies (64.4% 52.6%) compared to the same length (44.4%), due enhanced electron–hole seperation more surface area provided bamboo ridges. activity kinetic behavior also optmized tuning pulse deposition time nanoparticles. Bamboo-type 0.5 s/1.5 s shows highest efficiency 78.5%, which represents 21.9% 76.8% enhancement those nanotubes, respectively, indicating that a proper amount can maximize processes. In addition, overly long will not further increase agglomeration paticles. For example, when is increased 2 s/6 s, array exhibits lower 62.9%.
