摘要: Three mixed-phase TiO2 powders, containing ∼80 volume % anatase and ∼20 rutile, were prepared from amorphous titanium hydroxide three different salt matrices—pure sodium chloride, pure Na2CO3, disodium hydrogen phosphate (DSP). Amorphous mixtures heat treated at 875°C in a rapid thermal annealing system for times, according to the time–temperature phase transformation graphs. Time-dependent UV degradation of aqueous solutions methylene blue dye (15 ppm) presence powders was used monitor activity catalysts. Microstructural study by scanning electron microscope transmission combined with analysis XRD optical absorbance UV-absorption spectroscopy indicated that higher photocatalytic powder obtained DSP could be explained its smaller rutile particle size anatase–rutile interparticle bonding.
