摘要: Abstract Experiments were conducted to determine the quantitative relationship between supplemental dietary selenite and deposition of selenium in eggs Single Comb White Leghorn pullets consuming diets adequate with respect all other nutrients, including vitamin E a synthetic antioxidant, evaluate influence E, increased antioxidant levels, an unsaturated fat on efficacy for performance laying breeding hens. Results indicate that levels ca .05 ppm are sustain egg production but less then .10 result deficiency dependent glutathione peroxidase. A level E-deficient is required optimal hatchability subsequent progeny. When hens formulated selenium-deficient ingredients supplemented as Na2 SeO3, concentration edible contents was found be .26 after 20 weeks feeding. This within nutritionally important range far below shown have any toxic effects experimental animals.
