摘要: Abstract The primary purpose of this study is to determine the extent which effects dietary supplementation female chicken with selenium (Se) continue into next generation. An additional aim compare relative effectiveness pre-hatch (from hen's diet) that post-hatch progeny's Se on status chick during first 4 weeks life. Hens were maintained control or Se-supplemented diets, respectively containing 0.027 and 0.419 μg Se/g feed. high-Se diet elevated content hens' eggs by 7.1-fold. At hatch, concentrations in liver, breast muscle whole blood chicks originating from parents were, respectively, 5.4-, 4.3- 7.7-fold higher than values low-Se parents. When offspring two parental groups both progeny diet, tissue hens remained significantly for 3–4 after hatching, compared hens. Similarly, glutathione peroxidase activity 2–4 post-hatch. Thus, maternal persist several hatching. However, when hatching placed a high their at 7 days age markedly diet.
