摘要: It is found in studies with the polarizing microscope that 66 nylon spherulites form readily at temperatures near melting point and grow until they are stopped by presence of other spherulites. They possess a radially positive birefringence approximately 0.01. X-ray diffraction confirm conclusions, drawn from results, polymer chains oriented tangential plane hydrogen bonds along radii. Spherulites composed same type crystallites as nonspherulitic, crystalline regions polymer. The formation “transcrystalline” region on surface temperature range where has been observed interface between wide variety substances. This taken evidence spherulite nuclei more than inside decided, basis x-ray studies, true thermodynamic must be higher normally accepted fusion temperature. From shapes interfaces spherulites, it concluded radial growth rate constant for any isotherm.
