A review of broad technology assessment: Citation-based analysis

摘要: This paper reviews the literature of technology assessment published over 1977 to 2016 identify major research themes past four decades. We retrieve 5493 articles from Web Science database and construct citation network among them. By applying edge-betweenness clustering technique splitting data into groups, 4 groups with more than 100 papers stand out, other being very small ones. then use main path analysis detect influential in each group employ word clouding find topic group. The are "health assessment", "constructive "technology radiology", "general assessment". finally describe contents on reveal its development trajectory. approach used herein is a unique useful one for identifying trajectory target field also applicable any scientific or technological as long relationship exists.
