摘要: In the process of positive selection, immature CD4 + 8 double (DP) thymocytes expressing TCR reactive to self-MHC by appropriate avidity develop into mature thymocytes. Positive selection involves not only down-regulation either or CD8 but also acquisition immunocompetent potential such as cell proliferation and cytokine production. To understand molecular basis for functional maturation during process, we examined whether nonselected DP, selected − single possess activation signaling pathways from mitogen-activated protein kinases (extracellular signal-regulated kinase c-Jun N-terminal kinase) AP-1. response stimulation, a marked induction c-Fos expression well is detected in cells DP cells, though activities c -fos transcripts are equally induced. presence proteasome inhibitors, became detectable still suggesting that receiving signals acquire capacity translate gene, it may be sufficiently high overcome degradation protein. These data indicate translating ability gene up-regulated thymic through positively cells. The distinguished responsiveness stimulation with without result part distinct regulation at translational level.
