摘要: Commonly conceptualized as neurodevelopmental disorders of yet poorly understood aetiology, schizophrenia and other nonorganic psychoses remain one the most debilitating illnesses with often poor outcome despite all progress in treatment manifest disorder. Drawing on frequent psychosis its association frequently extended periods untreated first-episode (FEP) including prodrome, an early detection both FEP preceding at-risk mental state (ARMS) have been increasingly studied. Thereby approaches are confronted different problems, for example, engagement predictive accuracy ARMS. They share, however, problems related to lack understanding developmental, that is, age-related, peculiarities presentation natural course their cardinal symptoms community. Most research intervention ARMS is still clinical psychiatric samples, little known about symptom burden help-seeking general population these experiences. Furthermore, particular ARMS, studies address adolescents young adults alike without consideration developmental characteristics, thereby applying risk criteria developed predominately adults. Combining our earlier experiences described this paper child adolescent, psychiatry well lines research, psychosis, very states by subjective disturbances terms basic symptoms, age-related epidemiological aspects therefore made focus current Bern, thus making line unique.
