摘要: Recent studies show that alterations in the body’s biological rhythms can lead to serious pathologies, including cancer. Acute and chronic ethanol consumption impairs immune system by causing specific defects cellular components of innate response creating increased risk susceptibility infections NK cells are critical for surveillance against infected malignant cells. To assess whether cell function follows a circadian trend determine effects on this rhythm, we measured, over 24-h period, mRNA protein levels granzyme B, perforin, cytokine IFN-γ, as well activity, splenocytes ad libitum-fed, pair-fed, ethanol-fed Sprague Dawley male rats. Circadian were found IFN-γ. A pattern was also detected cytolytic activity. Our data further demonstrated how suppressed activity directly disrupting These findings identify functions splenic vulnerability these ethanol.
