摘要: Among nature’s omnipresent phenomena are fluid dynamic jets. Some obvious to even the most casual observer — like jets that exit from one’s mouth and nostrils when exhaling on a cold morning. Others require extraordinary efforts see astrophysical jets, which at distances of light years away visible only through telescopes astronomer. The technology dominate our lives, propelling planes move us across continents, issuing simple air hoses machine shop, stacks spew waste products industry, diffuser arrays disperse effluent into streams rivers. Without life as we know it would be unimaginable.
