摘要: The differences in mixing performance between axisymmetric turbulent jets issuing from three common types of nozzle, viz. a contoured (or smooth contraction) sharpedged orifice and long pipe, are investigated. investigation is carried out using both qualitative flow visualizations quantitative measurements the centerline passive temperature. It revealed that jet an plate provides greatest rate with ambient fluid, while pipe has lowest rate. Physical insight into explored planar imaging technique power spectra fluctuating velocity
