摘要: Abstract This article reports the synthesis, characterization and catalytic performance of Pd promoted Ni/MgAl 2 O 4 spinel catalysts for thermal decomposition methane into hydrogen carbon nanotubes. The as-synthesized were characterized their structural, textural, morphological properties. properties catalyst found to be enhanced with promoter. It effectively increased surface area without affecting pore parameters improved fine dispersion NiO particles on magnesium aluminate. reduction temperature was lowered after deposition. Moreover, provided high activity stability decomposition. A maximum yield ∼57% obtained over at a reaction 700 °C any deactivation 420 min time stream. Moreover highly uniform, interwoven thin multi-walled nanotubes graphitization degree deposited catalysts.
