摘要: Integrin-mediated cell adhesion is necessary for the survival of many types, and loss causes apoptosis. We have previously shown that alpha5beta1 integrin supports on fibronectin increases Bcl-2 protein expression. Here we show bcl-2 transcription elevated in cells attach to through alpha(v)beta1 or vitronectin alpha(v)beta3 but not attaching integrin. expression protection from apoptosis under serum-free conditions correlated with transcription. This integrin-mediated regulation Shc- FAK-dependent, activation Ras by FAK required. Furthermore, mediates this up-regulation activating phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase-AKT pathway. Mitogen-activated kinase did appear be Therefore, our work characterizes pathway effect integrins survival.
