摘要: Abstract Detailed investigations were carried out at a site on the Chalk of southern England between 1978 and 1982 to determine effects sewage effluent recharge groundwater quality. Before 1981 screened crude domestic was recharged via series lagoons. During secondary-treatment works commissioned through new subsurface drain network. Monitoring inorganic, organic microbiological quality continued change-over, enabling regime be assessed. The results investigation have shown an effective way ameliorating Following introduction secondary treatment there seems been little change in degree contaminant removal.
